MILTON, DE – The historic Milton Theatre is proud to welcome back the Wilmington Ballet for a one-night-only premiere of AXIS: Centering the Self in Love and Life. Scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2026, this production promises an evening of profound and exhilarating contemporary ballet and modern dance.
AXIS explores the deeply personal journey of self-discovery and the quest to find one’s emotional core. The performance is a compelling fusion of classical technique and modern narrative, serving as a moving meditation on the essential balance between the self, love, and the trajectory of life.

Founded in 1956, the Wilmington Ballet has promoted excellence in dance training for over half a century.
