What You’ll See on Parade Night
As the parade makes its way through downtown, you can expect:
-
Sparkling floats decorated with lights, garlands, and holiday themes
-
Marching bands playing favorite Christmas songs and seasonal music
-
Fire trucks and emergency vehicles from the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company, shining with holiday lights
-
Community groups, local organizations, and clubs walking or riding in the parade
-
A special appearance by Santa Claus, waving to the crowd and bringing extra cheer
From toddlers on parents’ shoulders to grandparents bundled up in blankets and chairs, it is a true hometown event where everyone feels part of something special.
Stop by the Fire Station: Refreshments and Santa Visit
The celebration does not stop when the last float passes by.
During and after the parade, you are invited to stop by the Fire Station for:
-
Light refreshments
-
A chance for kids to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the conclusion of the parade
It is a cozy way to warm up, grab a treat, and thank the volunteers who work so hard for the community all year long.
Stuff-A-Truck 2025: Help Fill the Fire Truck with Toys
This year, the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company is also inviting the community to join Stuff-A-Truck 2025.
The goal is simple and meaningful:
Collect new, unwrapped toys for local children in need and fill a fire truck with holiday cheer.
Every single toy helps brighten a child’s holiday. Whether it is a board game, doll, action figure, book, or craft set, your gift stays here in the community and reminds local families that they are not alone.
