Punkin Ale Fest 2025: Dogfish Head’s Free Fall Party Returns to Milton (Oct 11)

Beer. Music. Community. Dogs. Dogfish Head Craft Brewery’s beloved Punkin Ale Fest is back on Saturday, October 11, 2025, 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. at the Milton Brewery—and you’re invited. Named for the fan-favorite Punkin Ale (7% ABV), this free, family- and dog-friendly celebration packs the day with exclusive pours, live music, local vendors, and autumn-inspired fun.

“Punkin Ale Fest is our way of not only celebrating the season, but the community that supports us day-in and day-out,” says Sam Calagione, Dogfish Head Founder & Brewer. “We’re pulling out all the stops—from off-centered ales and cider cocktails to throwback tunes and fall games.”

Dogfish Head’s Beer & Benevolence partner for 2025 is the Brandywine Valley SPCA (BVSPCA)—the region’s largest animal welfare organization focused on ending animal suffering through community involvement.

  • Onsite at the Fest: BVSPCA team with adoptable dogs and a donation-based pet photo booth

  • Collaboration Release: Bob’s Buddies Brew — a 5.1% ABV American lager brewed with blueberries and ginger

  • Where to Get It (starting Oct 11): On draft and in 4-packs of 16oz cans at the Milton Brewery and the Rehoboth Off-Centered EmPOURium, while supplies last

  • Impact: Proceeds from Bob’s Buddies Brew benefit the BVSPCA
    Inspired by Bob, a long-term shelter resident whose story helped launch the Animal Rescue Center, Bob’s Buddies Brew honors rescue animals and the people who care for them.

“Bob’s Buddies Brew is more than just a beer; it’s a tribute to the resilience of shelter pets and the communities that rally behind them,” says Jim Schmidt, Development Manager at BVSPCA.
