Delaware Seashore State Park Paddlefest 2023
Please read BEFORE purchasing tickets! All details can be found at www.paddlefestde.com.
The 2023 Paddlefest will occur at low tide. The launch site will be muddy and you should be prepared to carry your kayak 150 – 200 yards. The course route will also be adjusted as some of the narrow creeks are not navigable at low tide. You are required to wear closed-toe shoes, sun protection, pfd, and bring water.
What Does My $25 ticket Include?
- An awesome, 4-mile paddling course through the beautiful marshes of Delaware Seashore State Park.
- A signature Paddlefest t-shirt
- A free beverage voucher (adult beverages qualify!)
- Paddlefest swag bag
- Waived park entrance fee
A 4-mile kayaking excursion can take even the experienced paddler 2+ hours to complete. If you have never been kayaking before, we urge you to go kayaking several times before Paddlefest. The park offers kayak programs throughout the summer. Our partners at Coastal Kayak and Quest Adventures also offer rentals and instruction.
Limited kayak rentals are available through Coastal Kayak or Quest Adventures on a first-come, first-served basis. It is important to reserve your kayak rental in advance. When making a reservation with one of our partners, please inform them that you are a Paddlefest participant. Coastal Kayak and Quest Adventures staff will deliver the kayaks to the event. For more information visit coastalkayak.com or questkayak.com.
Tickets are NON-refundable unless park staff need to cancel due to unsafe weather conditions or other extenuating circumstances. If we need to cancel the course, you may choose to donate your ticket fee to the park, or you may receive a partial refund. The cost of t-shirts will not be refunded. However, they will be available for pick up in the event that Paddlefest is cancelled.
Be sure to join us for the After-Party at Tower Road Oceanside! The party will have food trucks, live music, exhibitors, and local vendors and artisans. Don’t forget to pick up your swag bag at the After-Party. It includes your t-shirt, free drink ticket, and other fun items. For a full listing of all sponsors and vendors, please visit paddlefestde.com.
A week prior to Paddlefest, you will receive an email with more details on parking, arrival times, safety, and what to expect!
