Event at a Glance

  • Where: The beaches and beautiful towns of Dewey and Rehoboth

  • Vibe: A relaxed schedule—enjoy as much or as little interaction with other Golden families as you like

  • What to check: See this page for previous gathering times

What to Expect

  • Friday night: Parading through Rehoboth

  • Saturday (day): A joyous romp on the beach

  • Saturday (night): A cozy bonfire on the beach

A bit of Heaven for everyone to enjoy!

A Look Back

Previous years brought close to 400 Goldens running blissfully free on the beach—chasing tennis balls and swimming together in the surf.

Why We Gather: Support GRLS

We encourage you to support the GRLS (Golden Retriever Lifetime Study).

  • It’s one of the largest, most comprehensive prospective canine health studies in the United States.

  • The purpose: to identify nutritional, environmental, lifestyle, and genetic risk factors for cancer and other diseases in dogs.

  • Each year, with help from veterinarians and dog owners, the Foundation collects health, environmental, and behavioral data on 3,000+ enrolled Golden Retrievers.
