Why This Race Matters

Support Delaware agriculture while enjoying a one-of-a-kind off-road course on a working dairy farm. Proceeds benefit the Delaware Farm Bureau Foundation’s mission to promote fresh, local food, build awareness of Delaware’s farm operations, and sponsor the Ag Education Mobile Classroom.

  • 5K Run — $35 | Start 9:00 a.m.

  • 5K Walk — $35 | Start 9:00 a.m.

  • Silent Hero (Entry Fee Donation) — $35 | Show support if you can’t attend

  • Healthy Kids Run — 8:50 a.m.

  • Kiddie K — Free for ages 10 & under

Registration window:

  • $30 through October 12, 2025 (11:59 p.m.)

  • $35 from October 13 through race day (including on-site)

The Course: Farm-Fresh and Scenic

An off-road, “cool farm” route weaving through Hopkins Farm pastures. Expect a memorable mix of:

  • Pastures and hay bales

  • Barn views and a covered bridge

  • A peaceful loop near the pond
    Starts and finishes right at the home of Hopkins Ice Cream—come for the race, stay for the treats.


Awards & Divisions

  • Overall: Unique awards for top male, female, and masters winners

  • Age Groups (Run): Top 3 male/female in 10-year groups: 10 & under through 70+

  • Walk: Top 5 male/female finishers

  • Kids: Ribbons to all Kiddie K finishers


Swag & Race Perks

  • Long-sleeve 2025 Lace Up for Ag shirts for all participants

  • Results & Photos: Posted after the event at defb.org
